The book is inscribed by Louise Lewisohn, Ludwig's wife, and laid in is a letter by Louise writing about the possibility that the book could be made into a movie, and the life Ludwig chose in literature (instead of copper). In hand writing at the end, she mentions that she wrote the "Publisher's Note" that appears in the foreward to this edition. Price-clipped. Previous owner name and address label..
