Bright blue cloth over boards, title stamped in silver onto spine, royal octavo, 9-3/4" x 6-1/16" [24.8 cm x 15.0 cm], pp. xvi (including frontis) , 879, all edges trimmed, "First Published 1958" to copyright page. Bright blue and white dust jacket with title and numerous authors names printed onto top panel and spine, full list showing "THE AUTHORS REPRESENTED IN THIS BOOK" on back panel, original price of "30' NET" to bottom of front flap. Volume with light fading to edges, clean and unmarked throughout, DJ with light soil, short closed tears and a few tiny chips, not price-clipped. Contains a vast selection of works ranging from Napoleon III's History of Julius Caesar [1865] to Eartha Kitt's Thursday's Child [1957].
