New York: Grosset and Dunlap, 1935. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. Clemens Gretta. Castaways of the Stratosphere' #18 in the Ted Scott Flying Stories. Bound in red boards with blue spine lettering. Hinges are tight and book is square.Copyright 1935. Prior owner name on front free endpaper. Glossy frontis. Front books box lists Ted Scott Castaways of the Stratosphere and Hardy Boys to Hidden Harbor. The dust jacket is clean and bright. There is 1/2 inch wear to top of spine and 16th inch at base of spine. The front flap list Ted Scott to Brushing Mountain Top, rear flap lists 4 Air Combat Stories with Flying Black Birds the last. Rear cover lists Hardy Boys t Mark on the Door. All of these books were published prior to 1935, so this may be a first edition. There is a considerable amount of old tape on the inside of the jacket and the front flap is taped in its entirety. Without the old tape, the front flap would have detached. Please see the pictures.
