London: Virtue, Spalding, and Company, 1860. Hardcover. Good. This volume only. frontis, illustrations, viii, 362p. Gilt-decorated blue cloth. 26cm. Rubbing and fraying along joints and other extremities. Chip at head of backstrip. Endpapers cracked at hinges (which are otherwise sound). Contents clean and tight with minimal age-toning. The only indication that this is volume 2 (of 2) are two asterisks below the author's name and list of other publications on the title-page (and the fact that the pagination is consistent with Vol. 2).
