Good with marginal edgewear along top and bottom of spine. Black and white plates. Includes nameplate and call sheet pasted along interior of front board and call number pasted along spine. Black and white photographic plate pasted on verso of front board includes an inscription in pencil from Herbert Allen, collection creator and namesake: “To My Dear Friends Mr. And Mrs. [C.R.] Harvey. Herbert Allan. 14/5/22.” First edition. Heavy volume, additional shipping fee may apply.Provenance: Ex-libris. Originally from the Oliver Collection of the Royal Holloway and Bedford New College Library. Library book plate, and other library markings present on spine and inside front cover.
