About the author

Gary Jobson is an ESPN sailing commentator and the author of 14 books on sailing, including "An America's Cup Treasury," "Fighting Finish," "Gary Jobson's Championship Sailing," and "Sailing Fundamentals." He is the winner of an Emmy award for his coverage of the 1988 Seoul Olympic games, as well as an America's Cup Hall of Fame honoree and the recipient of a Nathanael G. Herreshoff trophy. He is an editor at large for "Sailing World" and "Cruising World." He lives in Annapolis, Maryland. Roy Wilkins coaches sailing at Ocean County College and Monmouth University and is a member of the Island Heights Yacht Club. He lives in Island Heights, New Jersey.
