It contemplates on the massive killings and extreme violence of the South of Europe. These are based in the historical sources of the writer during his times. Dumas Davy de la Pailleterie or better known as Alexandre Dumas, père, was a French author. His books were translated in almost a hundred dialects, and he is among the greatest French writers. His fiction books have been made into about 200 film adaptations in the early twentieth century.
