Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout, heavier towards the start and end of the book. Heavy liquid stains to text block edges and some margins and pages, but text remains legible throughout. Liquid droplet mark to centre of text on p222. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water marking to bottom edge of both boards. Front board slightly warped. Book has a mild forward lean. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear; an area of loss to front panel. Some heavy tears, chips, creasing. Tanning and water staining to panels, spine and flaps. Jacket quite rubbed and marked overall. Traces of sticker and faint tape marks to front. Creased front flap.
