This is volume 34 in the series "Ancient Peoples and Places" edited by Dr. Glyn Daniel. Includes 67 photographs, 27 line drawings and 8 maps. Dark blue cloth boards with decorations and titles in gold dark blue topstain. Boards slightly bowed, endpapers yellowed which seems to be somewhat common with this title. Dust jacket clipped at bottom front otherwise quite nice.

Dust wrapper has a couple of tears: one at the bottom right corner of the front cover (very small- less than 1cm), and another at the bottom left of the back cover (very small, about 1cm). There is a minuscule tear of a few millimeters at the top edge of the front cover.
