Tokyo: The Shokokusha Publishing Co, 1953. Cloth. Very Good. The 1953 1st edition of this architectural study of Japanese teahouses. Solid and VG in its dark-green cloth, with light offsetting to the front and rear panel's top-edges and more pronouced offsetting along the spine. The neat ghosts of tape at the endpaper corners. Tall quarto, crisp black-and-white photos and plans throughout. Japanese paper samples --and their original tisue-guards tro protect them-- at the rear. Text in both Japanese and English.
