In Three Volumes; 3/4 leather & marbled paper over boards, raised bands, gilt spine title & decorations, endpapers/pastedown marbled, & all edges marbled; Curiously each title page has a 3.5"x3.25" section cut out in the lower half just above the publication date but neatly repaired & with a volume number and short contents slip installed on the repairs; Also, curiously, the nearly top half of the first text page has been excised & neatly repaired with the lost obverse text installed on the repair in an early hand; There is no frontis engraving & it appears one was never bound in; A good+ set with wear to the paper portion of the boards; 364, 443, 391 pages + Index. Size: 5.25"x8.5". Hardcover.
