Even as Foreign Affairs Secretary before and during World War I , he still managed to devote time to birds . After his time in the Foreign Office and with his eyesight failing , he found great comfort in his time with the birds of Fallodon . The dust jacket on this copy is in poor condition with a piece missing at the foot of the spine . Dust jacket is now protected with a mylar cover . The boards wear to the edges . The textblock is in excellent condition . Glossery of birds mentioned with their Latin names .
