A very handsome book of poetry collected for children, selected and illustrated by renowned illustrator, Jessie Wilcox Smith. Illustrated endpapers with ink dedication and date (1912) on FEP. Some light foxing to endpapers and soiling to boards. Ten full-page color illustrations and black and white header illustrations on every page. One full-page illustration and its tissue paper cover is detached but in excellent condition (see image). Pages are clean and made of heavy card-stock paper. Small pastedown on RFEP from noted San Francisco bookseller, Smith, Elder & Co. Hinge is tight and intact.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
