Roosevelt collector, so the signature may be that of Roosevelt's mother -- I don't know).An important edition for collectors of illustration and children's books, but, like other Russell books, this one was doomed to unnatural physical failure.Condition of this book:Backstrip mostly perished, covers' edges worn and chipped, some leaves loose, occasional tears at edges; clean.
