A series of essays written by Mrs. Stowe under a pseudonym that deal primarily with women's issues, such as property rights, the vote, education opportunities, domestic work, etc.
Inscribed by Harriet Beecher Stowe on the front endpaper, "Trust in the Lord and do good. Harriet Beecher Stowe. Hartford March 1893."
A fine copy inscribed by Stowe.
