Very Good Plus. 12mo., 310pp. Beautiful First Edition bound in original green cloth with blind-stamped decorated borders. titles stamped in black on spine. Copyright not dated but published 1919, (Hubin p. 43). reface is dated January, 1891 so likely published shortly thereafter. Square, tight and clean throughout. Quite minor wear to spine ends and tips. Spine panel toning. Long, warm, inscription in Bower's hand and signed by both authors on the front end-paper and dated in the year of publication. Clearly to someone who was more than just a reader. A quite handsome collectable copy of an uncommon item, particularly signed by both authors.
