Book Condition: Fair +; splash stains on upper right corder of front board; missing edge section on lower front board; shelfwear to head, tail, and tips; small area of insect damage on spine. No DJ. Brick red cloth boards and spine with bright black lettering on the front board; decorative tooling on front board around title. Clean internals. Interior hinges are sound and not split. 169 pp 8vo. This book has been compiled with three specific aims. The first has been to get a collection of the choicest songs; the second, to arrange the music of this book into a well graded series of exercises for note reading; and the third, to explain the elements of music so that all may understand the subject thoroughly. A clean very presentable copy.
