Also includes several appendices containing examples of ballet scenarios since the 18th century, new material on the danse d'ecole, notes on the preservation of ballets, and recommendations for the education of choreographers, critics, and audiences. Jacket price-clipped and lightly edgeworn, with some moderate soiling to the rear panel and a faint label ghost to front panel; otherwise a very good copy.
