About This Item

Meade, KS : Ohnick Enterprises, 2003 Ohnick Enterprises, Meade, KS. 2003. Hardcover. First Edition. Book is tight, square, and unmarked. Book Condition: Fine. DJ: Near Fine; light bumping to head; small scuff on rear flap fold. Blue boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine and front board. 250 pp 8vo. This book is the result of an attic discovery of an unpublished manuscript the author's wrote in the 1930s. The authors were a pioneer family in SW Kansas along the Cimarron River and spent most of their lives on the working side of the cattle business; cattle drives, round-ups, cattle herds, ranch life, cattle rustlers, horses, and ranch life in general. Many stories of Dodge City and lots of B&W photos of cowboys and cow herds. A clean very presentable copy.
