About This Item
Jackson, MS: Citizens' Councils of America, 1976. Single issue of the slender digest-sized pro-segregation monthly, 31p., very good except for several titles in the literature list at the end having been crossed out as no longer available. The neo-Confederate journal stood for "States rights and racial integrity." Much on the situation in Port Gibson, where it is reported that Black protesters from up north are attacking locals who fail to comply with a boycott of white-owned businesses. Other articles breathlessly describe Negro lawlessness around the world.
