London: Taylor and Hessey, 1819. Leather. Very Good. Two Volumes: xvi,278 + viii,230 pages. Frontis engraving to each volume, two engravings. Marbled endpapers. Rebound in contemporary red leather binding with gilt borders, 18mo's [6.5 x4.5 inches]. Spines decorated in gilt. All edges gilt. Covers bright, clean and square. Spines to both volumes are scratched so that blind stamping is not readable. Previous owner's small, faded circular name stamp to front endpaper of each volume. Text clean and bright with some very light toning.
