An uncorrected proof copy of Cowper's science fiction novel, which centres around four human clones in the year 2072. Uncorrected proof copy. In the publisher's paper wraps, with a price-clipped dust wrapper. 'Clone' is a science fiction by Richard Cowper which tells the personal accounts of four human clones in the year 2072, after they are cloned under laboratory conditions and gain supernatural powers. Richard Cowper (1926-2002), also known as John Middleton Murry Jr, was an English writer. He wrote under a few pseudonyms, including Colin Murry, and gained considerable popularity through his science fiction and fantasy novels. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original paper wraps, in the price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with no noticeable faults other than a bit of edge wear to bottom edge of front wrap. Dust wrapper is smart, with a few marks to margins of wraps, as well as the fly leaves. A bit of edge wear particularly to the top edge of wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout. Near Fine
