Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" A nice association copy, signed and inscribed by author to noted American writer David Shields: '8/18/91 To David, a fine writer & a good pal - all my best wishes, as ever - Fred.' 8vo. - over 7 3/4 in. - 9 3/4 in. 288pp., bound in quarter black cloth over black board with gilt stamped titles on the spine. Shields has given this copy a serious read, it has light reading wear, light splash stains to endpapers, and he has torn out the last blank page, else Good. The dust jacket is Very Good with light creasing, and shelfwear.

Synopsis

Frederick Busch , a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and the PEN Faulkner Award, is the recipient of the PEN/Malamud Prize for achievement in the short story. He recently won the Award of Merit Medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, given in recognition of a writer’s lifetime achievement. His newest work of fiction is Don’t Tell Anyone . Fairchild Professor of Literature at Colgate University, he lives in upstate New York.
