US orders ship with signature confirmation and insurance. 1943 Harper hardcover stated 1st edition with dj protected in mylar, flatsigned by the author on the bottom of the ffep, which is also the 2nd contents page. Edgewear (some tears closed, including a big one on the spine), chipping and soil/tanning on dj, which is also brittle at the spine, slight fraying on cover, top corners bumped, title label on spine foxed, pages tanned, light dent/curling on top fore-edge, else text clean, binding tight .
