Denver: Colorado Historical Society. Fine. 2004. Softcover. Elizabeth Young was born in Denver in 1890 and grew up with her family in their house in the middle of town on Colfax Avenue. She told of the growth of the city, and its ups and downs in this memoir, which she wrote in the 1960s, toward the end of her life. Her words are supplemented with annotations by Cade Nethercott in this 2004 reissuance. Includes several black & white photos.
