Additional hand-colored lithographic by Lauters depicting dancing Balinese maidens surrounded by a wreath of orchids and 70 lithographic plates, including 56 hand-colored and one double-page by G. Severeyns after T.Bik, Blume, Gordon, Latour, van Raalten and A.J. Wendel. An attractive work on the orchids of the Malay archipelago. It was also issued with the title Flora Javae et insularum adjacentium nova series. ''It is possible that the parts of the two editions were issued almost simultaneously'' (Stafleu).
