Sharpe (1718-1790) was the 22nd proprietary governor of Maryland, 1753-1769; after his retirement, Sharpe remained in the colony until 1773 when he returned to England. Very good untrimmed copy. Original red cloth (partly faded), gilt spine title. (9277).
