The Colophon, A Book Collector's Quarterly, Part 5, New York: Pynson Printers, 1931. Quarto, unpaginated, printed boards. Includes the David B. Milne aquatint Hilltop, signed by Milne in pencil. The artist, a Canadian painter, print maker and writer, achieved early recognition at the Armory Show of 1913, where he had 5 paintings exhibited. The idea of using color in a drypoint, as in the print available here, was an original idea of Milne's, as the tradition practice was black and white only.
