Christian von Wolff (1679-1754) was a German philosopher who wrote extensively about all branches of science. In this volume his various scientific experiments are illustrated with 14 nicely handcolored, folded plates. In Near Fine- Condition: vellum slightly soiled; light foxing throughout; otherwise, clean and tight.
