In Near Fine heavy stock slipcase with wrap-around illustrations. vii (ii), 239 (6) pp, with 71 color plate and b&w illustrations. . Text in Japanese with species and genus names in latin as well as the shell's discoverer in parenthesis. Enlarged and Revised Edition, 1959. Only the faintest age-toning to text block edges, else, Pristine, no wear. Clean, tight and strong binding with no underlining, highlighting or marginalia. Green cloth with tipped-in color illustration on front board, gilt lettering to front board and spine, and decorative endpapers. 959.
