832 pp. Over 500 engravings, maps, chart and diagrams and illustrations, many by the great masters. Book has been rebound with new black spine. Boards are slightly soiled and scuffed. Endpapers are beautifully illustrated. Hinges are tight, No internal markings, Pages are clean. This book was published in conjunction with Chicago's 1892 Columbian Exposition. Contains a biography of Columbus, a comprehensive history of the United States and information and illustrations of the Exposition. Fold-out map of the Exposition grounds is missing the fold-out page.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
