About This Item
London: Constable & Co, 1923. Hardcover. Very Good. Buckles, Alex. Scarce publisher's advance copy, with Constable's name, rather than de la Mare's, on the bottom of the spine and more elaborate ornamentation on the spine. SIGNED by de la Mare on the free endpaper. An earlier bookseller's notes in pencil indicate 25 copies were published, with an early bookseller's description pasted to the fixed endpaper. Slight bumping to corners, head of spine. Xxxviii, 699pp.
