Modern Library. Cloth. Good/Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Two volumes, smaller books, red cloth, gilt and black background on front and spines very fine. Volume I: Bookplate inside front cover, 543 lightly browned pages. (Inside DJ it states "367 Outstanding Books..."). DJ price-clipped, white very slightly and uniformly browned, color design on front. DJ has micronick at bottom front edge, micronick at spine top and bottom edges, Near Very Good. Volume II: 543 lightly browned pages. Lightly faded at bottom front and spine bottom and much of back. (Inside DJ it states "358 Outstanding Books...") DJ slightly browned, microtear near top front bookfold edge, 1/2" wide tear at spine top left edge, nick at spine top right edge, three tiny but wide nicks spine bottom edge. Fair DJ/Near Good book. Good set overall.
