Pickering & Inglis LTD. , N/A. Softcover. Acceptable. 14th edition, post-1939, revised to include events of 1939 and more than likely printed in 1940. Pickering & Inglis was a well-established publisher of Christian materials. This copy was initially sold through Loizeaux Brothers, an entity begun in the late 1880's in NYC, to distribute and sell reading materials of a Biblical nature. The cardstock wraps, with folded flaps, have faded somewhat and are fragile. Bumped and worn corner tips. Heal and heel of spine are chipped and worn, with chipping to the top layer of the cardstock on rear wrap along the entire top edge. Crimped and rubbed along all outer edges of the wraps. Front inside flap is clipped, however a price tag exists at top of flap and that has left an outline on the title page. It is entirely possibly that there is a page missing at the very front of the book, as preface is number page 5, but there appears to be no 1,2,3,4. It doesn't LOOK like a page has been torn out however. Pages are age-toned. Saddle stitched binding remains intact. Previous owner name on title page, and faint pencil erasure. 94 pp.
