Minor creasing to edges of unclipped dustwrapper, very slight bumping to spine ends and corners of blue boards, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book dealing with the author's Wartime experiences. He was the first Commando soldier in the British Army and led 3 Commando, taking part in raids on Norway and Dieppe and later in Sicily and Italy and then the Normandy Landings and onwards to Germany. Originally published in 1953, this is a much later edition from 1991 published by Greehill. 222pp, 16pp b&w illustrations, 7 maps.. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
