A chronicle of the IX Corps, written by seven different veterans. The name of a former owner is written in a neat hand on the front fly leaf: "Serg. John A. Fisher Northfield Mass." He is listed in the book on pages 171 and 369, as being wounded at Spottsylvania, before being discharched in 1864. Also, according to a separate note inserted in the book, Fisher's cousin was Joseph Austin Harris, listed on page 371; discharged in 1865.

Light wear on dust cover, sewn binding tight, inscription on front page, clean pages (with exception of a small spot on table of contents page). Spine appears slightly "skewed" or "slanted" when lying flat. Small bump top right of front cover. Please see photos.

It gives the history of each firearm, and sources of information with color and black and white photos of firearms used by the Swedish Kings of the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
