Very good (inner margins of two pages browned from old bookmark)/good. 370p, over 100 line ills. and photos + 2 folding charts outlining steps in schooling and performance. With two chapters by Alexis Wrangel. Edited and designed by Eugene V. Connett. Although Littauer's emphasis on forward movement at the expense of collected gaits seems one-sided today, he was a highly educated and influential horseman whose detailed advice is still valuable for all levels of riders. (Wells 4643).
