Top corner of upper cover slightly worn, ex library copy with small very pale shield shaped stamp to lower margin of title page, repeated on 10 further pages, 2 small rectangular stamps on verso of title page, one or two small pale marginal damp stains, small hole in top corner of page 109, no loss, neat ink note in 1 margin, small piece missing from 1 lower corner, no loss (paper flaw), small hole in inner margin at lower edge of page 355, neatly repaired, not affecting text. A very good clean tight copy, frontispiece in facsimile as noted.
