Houghton Mifflin, 1908. Cloth. Fair. (Student's Cambridge Edition) Heavy book, sturdy dark red cloth, gilt lettering bright on spine, 852 pages, double-column format. Owner's name in ink at top of first front end paper. Tissue-covered frontispiece portrait of Spenser with facsimile signature, tiny light brown spotting to exterior page edges, very slightly browned inside covers and adjacent end papers, pencil notes on many pages. Tiny brown spot at top of pages 261-453. Light wear to tips and spine edges, light red stain at bottom back. Fair.
