Cumberland Gap TN: Lincoln Memorial University, 1927. New and Enlarged Edition, Sponsors Edition. Hardcover. Very good. Each volume 6 1/4 x 9 1/4 inches. Brown faux-leather with gilt titles and decoration. Limited edition 'Sponsors Edition' this one being # 8 of an unspecified limited edition, presented to sponsor Darius A. Putnam, signed on page opposite limitation page by John Wesley Hill, who wrote the introduction and was Chancellor of Lincoln Memorial University from 1916-1936. Darius A. Putnam had a funeral parlor on Worcester Mass. Condition is Very Good; Volume 1 has a bit missing at bottom of spine, Volume 2 has 1/2 inch tear at top of spine, otherwise the set is in excellent shape with no markings, or signs of age. Heavy set, will require additional postage for Priority or International shipment. Am. Hist. RGR
