Pages are lightly tanned with a few small nicks and water drops along text block edge. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a pencil inscription to title page. Slight water stain to edge of pages iii-4 and 227-276. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed. Unclipped jacket has light surface wear, with small tears, chips and creasing to spine ends, edges and corners.
