Description

New York: McGraw-Hill, 1969. First edition. Hardcover. Good. Dark Blue Boards, White Lettering on Spine and Cover with olive decoration; 411 p. Glossary; glossary index; 25 chapters and Index. Black and white photographs, drawings and schematics throughout. "Probably no other invention in man's history has more potential to break the chains of drudgery than the computer." - C C Hurd, Chairman, Computer Usage Company (from the Foreword). Book is good, pages may be a little tanned, but it's difficult to tell because the book was printed on brown stock. (Back page states it was issued on 'permanent paper by the Halliday Lithograph Corp). There is a little edge wear, but not much and top corners a bit bumped. There is a remainder (or other) mark on top page block and also an X approximately 2 inches crossed on the front cover in black marker, but not too noticeable as against dark blue cover. Interior is clean and tight. Issued without a jacket.

Home-based, online sales only. I am running out of space to keep my collection of books, but I cannot bypass any chance offered at searching out some interesting venue offering books. I dithered for quite some time over this problem, and went right on buying books, until it occurred to me that I could make room for new purchases if I started selling some of my books. Payment accepted by Check (in USD), Money Order, Paypal or the Credit Cards that are accepted through Biblio. If paying by Check, your order will ship after the check clears. Pennsylvania residents will be charged applicable sales tax. Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt of the item, with prior notification, for a refund of the book price. I endeavor to accurately describe each book and note major defects, but if an item is found not to be as described, and the error is mine, I will pay postage costs. If your book order is heavy and/or over-sized, I may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
