First published in 1928, this is the 1958 reprint. A guide for the organising of a scout or cub concert and from the author's foreword: "I have endeavoured to place at the disposal of scouters (and incidentally officers of other juvenile organisations) a book of varied outlook at the same time dealing with allegory, legend, etc., down to farce. I have endeavoured to bear in mind the question of a boy's vocabulary. The book has been subdivided into various headings and many of the items are suitable for either cubs or scouts". Old inked price on the back cover, the spine is darkened and the spine tail shows moderate wear. Otherwise very clean and tight. .
