Providence, RI: Benjamin F. Moore, 1842. First edition. Cloth. Fine. First printing. Slim octavo in blindstamped dark brown cloth with cover stamped in gilt "R.I. Suffrage Question". 171 pps plus two blanks front and rear. A tight, fine copy, gilt lettering bright, virtually no wear; occasional scattered light foxing. An important piece in Rhode Island history, dealing with the question of a new constitution for that state which would lead to Dorr's Rebellion. By far the best copy we have seen of this scarce work.
