Large, sturdy book, brown cloth spine, yellow boards, blue lettering very fine on spine, 317 heavy lightly browned pages, lightly browned on pages' exterior edges. DJ glossy gray at top and bottom spine, front too with oval of Seemes and color-illustration of sailship battle at center front, white back with praise for Taylor's books in San Francisco Chronicle, New York Tribune, Washington Star and others. DJ has light wear at top front tip, very tiny creases at spine edges, blue stain at bottom back edge. Near Good DJ/Very Good book.
