Hardback, 1926, first edition, published by W. Collins Sons & Co. Ltd., London, 358 pages.
Measures around 8 1/4" by 5 3/4". Ex-library book with usual stamps and markings. Quarter brown cloth binding and paper on card boards. Embossed gilt design and lettering to front board, gilt lettering to spine. Scuffing, denting and marking to boards, with chipping at edges. A little marking to spine. Bumped and torn corners. Binding firm. Page edges browned, very slightly jagged form having been cut but generally neat. Library bookplate to front pastedown. Foxing to endpapers but page surfaces generally clean apart from the odd mark and the library markings, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
