Marbled text block edges, patterned endpapers and pastedowns. Moderate tanning, with light foxing and marking to pages. Previous owner's inscriptions to title page. Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers with cracking to front hinge. Binding remains firm. Occasional pen annotations throughout. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Boards are slightly bowed and tanned. Leather slightly peeling to all surfaces with noticeable scuffing. Faint marks overall with occasional water drops.
