Rebound in 19th Century half-leather library binding. Front hinge completely broken, with text block separated from front board. Cloth peeling and lifting from boards. Dampstains to endpapers. Lacking the frontispiece, both folding maps, and 5 of the plates. Some other plates with large tears and chips. Half-title paeg chipped, creased and torn. Front free endpaper missing. Text complete.
