First Edition. Hardcover. Original brown cloth stamped in blind and in gilt. i-iv, 5-200pp. Two leaves of plates and numerous other steel engravings throughout text. A history of the town of Cornwall, in Orange County, New York, which was the scene of some Revolutionary War activity. The author was a lawyer and U. S. Congressman representing Cornwall. See Nestler, A Bibliography of New York State Communities, p. 171. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
