Decorated American trade binding is quite clean, no fraying or wear-through, a few small edge bumps. Green cloth boards decorated with hollyhocks and small hears, oval color paste-on illustration is clean and unchipped. White lettering on cover and spine(unchipped). Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound. Clean decorated endpapers. Color decorated title page, with frontispiece featuring names and faces of all the contributors, with small gold and black border decoration. Pages and edges are clean. Illustrated with photographs. Begins at page 305 and ends at page 608 pages including Index..
